Research Collaboration

Stick Tech Ltd places a strong emphasis on R&D activities. We work closely together with Finnish and international universities and with individual experts in the dental field.

Research collaboration with the Biomaterial Research Group at the Dental Department of Turku University has been ongoing for years. During the past years, Professor Vallittu’s Biomaterial Research Group, in cooperation with international universities, has published more than 50 scientific publications, some of the doctoral dissertations are listed below.

In total there are more than 200 published studies on the technology developed by Stick Tech Ltd.
Stick Tech also carries out research collaboration with the following universities:

• Nippon Dental University, Tokyo, Japan

Research collaboration with universities does not only involve researching materials that are already sold, but also involves the development of new materials, for example, fibre reinforced implants.
